Last week, Namur once again became the beating heart of digital creativity as the KIKK Festival 2025 brought together artists, technologists, and innovators from across Europe and beyond.
From Vivien Roubaud’s captivating installation Suspended Time to immersive digital experiences at Le Pavillon, this year’s edition offered a spectacular exploration of the intersections between art, science, and technology. The festival buzzed with curiosity, collaboration, and a shared passion for innovation — a true testament to the creative energy that defines Wallonia-Brussels.
On Thursday afternoon, we had the pleasure of hosting a vibrant networking reception on Market Square, where Belgian and British professionals from the digital, artistic, and creative industries gathered to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration. Building on the connections first made during our Belgium House event during SXSW London, this meeting fostered exciting discussions around co-creation, innovation, and cross-cultural exchange between the UK and the Wallonia–Brussels creative ecosystems.
We were also pleased to welcome our UK delegates to Beyond Code: UK Visions at the Intersection of Art and Technology, a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring how digital tools, from AI to immersive environments, are reshaping artistic expression. The dialogue underscored how the UK’s thriving tech-art community and Wallonia-Brussels’ innovation-driven ecosystem are together pushing creative boundaries and redefining the future of art and technology.
